Situated on the outskirts of Sydney, Kenthurst Public School is in a semi-rural area where students live either on acreages or in a village environment. Most students travel to school by car or bus. The school is characterised by a warm, friendly environment and a strong supportive community.
Our vision is to encourage our students to strive for excellence, to be self directed learners, work cooperatively, to have concern for others and to be skilled in problem solving, communication and decision making.
To support our vision we have a committed and supportive group of teachers who have undertaken extensive technology training and are responsible for integrating technology into their classroom programs. All classrooms are equipped with an Interactive Whiteboard as well as six or more computers. All students have access to a fully networked Library, a technology laboratory with a computer ratio of 1:1 and a video conferencing suite connecting the school to the global community.
