Kindergarten 2025

Resources

Here are some resources to assist parents as you prepare for your child's first year at school:

Getting Ready for Primary School

Readiness Checklist

Please click here for Kenthurst's Readiness Checklist. Please note that this checklist is a guide and may help you to determine areas in which your child might need additional practice before school begins. Children are not expected to be masters of everything on the list.

Online Books

These books have been written for you to read with your child starting Kindergarten.

Children enjoy it when you read with them because they love spending time with you listening to stories and looking at pictures in books. The special time you spend together will develop into a love of reading and will help your child to become a successful learner throughout life.
